fuel filter relocation

fuel filter relocation

is there any rules to go by when relocating the filter? i.e. not higher than the fuel rail itself, or that the fuel lines must slope downward to the source, not go uphill to it? I moved mine to the passanger fenderwell, and now the truck cuts out.

awesome! SO much easier to access now...im stoked! the freakin Haynes said "starter removal may be necessary" in reference to fuel filter. aint no way in hell im gonna want to go through that again, unless absolutely necessary.
