Need a good mechanic in Boulder, CO area

I didn't see any regional forums so I guess I'll post this in here.

I am looking at a 98 SR5 4Runner at a Boulder dealership and would like to have a pre-purchase inspection done on it.

For you guys in the Boulder area, what shop do you recommend?

Chad

There's a couple of things that I'd consider.

Charley's Garage in N. Boulder (by the Bus Top) is good. They specialize in Toyotas.

Also, when I bought my '99 4runner, I took it to a Toyota Dealership and had them do one of their Toyota Pre-owned Vehicle inspections (~$100). They pretty much put it though all the paces and since they see so many 4runners as it is, they know what to look for. And Boulder Toyota is really good from my experience.

Hope this helps...good luck!

I'm not a mechanic, but I would be willing to take a look at it for you. I've been working on cars for about 4-5 years and I'm on my second 4Runner, a 99 SR5. My first 4Runner was a 93 that I put a 4" Superlift suspension lift on, as well as 33" tires and a K&N FIPK. Let me know if you would like my opinion (sp).

I appreciate the offer, but the car is at a dealer and I am just having them take it to a Boulder Mechanic.
