I am no business genius, but do work in marketing and public relations and am working on a proposal now which I will send to surf companies and off road companies to seek sponsorship towards a surf/off road adventure to Central America. The trip would include the filming of a documentary to highlight the offroading and surfing that would be the main drive, focus of the trip, but also feature a cross section of the peoples lives involved. I will soon figure out fuel and other costs as well as itinerary, anyone have experience with seeking sponsorship? also what else would you include for gear? off road items

As far as the rig itself, this is what I would anticipate needing
-come-alongs, chains, tow gear
-re-gear
-several jerry can mounts for roof rack
-supercharger
-on board air and welder
-tools
-2 full size spares
-body lift
-larger tires
-exterior and interior camera mounts
-potable water containers
-off road jacks

Sounds like a fun project, wish i could do something like organizing that sort of stuff for a job
