96 Taco 3.4 manual starts and runs rough all of a sudden. Going through the gears its missin and just running bad. 137k mi.

My check engine light comes on...so I shut engine off going about 50MPH, start it back up and it runs fine all the way to work..but check engine light is still on.

It did do this once before(no check engine light) and I thought it was fixed.
Cleaned MAF, new plugs, cleaned PVC, FI cleaner, fuel filter, air filter.

Can I reset the check engine light or pull codes without having to spend $?

One other thing my alarm has been acting strange also..not locking power door locks sometimes, maybe these are tied together somehow?

It sounds like you've a short somewhere, possibly where someone has tried to jack your rig. Try typing "codes" or "check engine light" into the Search window as I'm certain that this has been covered before, but be sure to post back if you need any other help.
