(3rdGen 4R) What's this connector for under my bumper? And which switch controls it?

I just checked under my bumper, and I don't have one of those at all. I have the '98 SR5.

Edit: I know that doesn't help, but I would be glad to help you find out. Do you have a limited? What year?

You say that there's one, JimmyK, yet I can clearly see two(2) that split off of the same harness, the obvious black one, and a white one leading over to the frame member by the tire.

If that one is actually connected to something, I'd see what and then you would perhaps have your answer.

That looks like one of the two horn connectors. How many horns do you have right now?

Its a 99 Limited.

You see I followed the wire back a little bit even though its routed with some other wires they are independant when you go farther back.

I think I only have one horn hooked up but Ill double check that as well. Maybe its hooked up with my fogs.. I dont think so but Ill double check, that would be ideal..

That's the probe that measures your ambient temperature.

that is the probe for the temp if your runner has the temp display on the mirror....mine came with it only not with the mirror so i bought another now i have two...lol... most limiteds are pre-wireed with all options(even though they don't have all option installed, thats in case you want to add them later...)

Why don't I have one pre-wired then, geez. Oh well, wiring is fun.

I am also surprised the sensor doesn't pick up the hot radiation from the radiator when you stand still...
