WOW, found some loose parts on my 2002 Tacoma 4x4 yesterday....

I was under the truck greasing the driveline and checking on things.....

I was looking at the rear tranny/transfer case mount and found that out of the four bolts that connect the tranny to the mount, there were only 2 left. In fact, of those 2, only 1 was tight, the other was half way out. I couldn't believe it........

I tightened the existing bolts, and went to the dealer to pick up 2 more. $0.89 later I was good to go.

I should start checking nuts and bolts more often. Weird that this would happen on an '02 Tacoma though, still pretty new.

On my 01 Tacoma the bolt that holds the tranny to the frame came loose twice. Mike
