Smile Can I see your truck lifted/ tire size question

Hey I was thinking about getting a 3 or 4 inch body lift for my 1990 4Runner if it looks alright. Do any of you have pictures of one like that. And if i do get a body lift Id want to put some big wide tires on it, anyone know the biggest tires i could run without scraping or much atleast.. with a body lift.. Becuase a 4inch suspension lift is $2000 ... a bodylift Ive heard runs about $100 or so

for a 3, or 4 inch BL its gunna be more than 100... your gunna need steering exstensions, gas tank filler extension, radiator drop (unless you wanna run electric fans) and ลลลล knob extensions, and lots of other exstension stuff, and i dont think you'd be very happy with the way it would look...i wouldnt go much over 2 inches...3 max

with a 3in BL you can run 33's with no rubbing issues. i run 33s on my PU with no lift of any kind..and no rubbing issues, im gunna install a 2 inch BL and hoping to run 35's and then hopefully end of summer have a SAS done with 4inches of suspension.

This is how it is now I want to make it look somewhat "mean" , so when you look at it you go

Most likely just road use only I dont want to trash it like my other 4runner I had, I basicly want it as a Daily driver well it is until i get my camaro goin again this summer. Maybe if I got some rims and some all terrains it would look alright . I am planning on doing the following soon. Boy do I miss my other runner except i love the red on this one

- window flares
- bug guard
- hella lights
- some sort of lift or biger tires achieving a small lift?

A 3 or 4 inch BL is retarded. Look into geting one of these kits from TRDparts.

Not only would it make more sense but any one of them will give you a much better ride, a BL wont.

besides, if im not mistaking, i don't think anybody makes 4" body lifts.

here are 2 pics of my 4Runner lifted about 3" (suspension) and 33" tires.
this is all i could really find on short hand, i've only had the 33's for a few months.

or you can click on the link in my signature and there are some pics of lift with 31" tires or stock and i think 2 or 3 pics of lifted right when i got my new tires.

Yeah, 3 or 4" body lift is just plain retarted.

Just do a one inch and you'll be able to fit 33's under it...thats what I did on my 4Runner. Look at the second link in the sig and you can see pics of it with 33" BFG's, you have to trim some stuff but with 10 free minutes, a plasma cutter (or sawzall) and an 8lb sledge hammer you'll be rollin on 33's!

2" body lift from 4Crawler and 1" rear coil spacer to level the damn thing out with 33" TrXus MT's on factory aluminum wheels. I get a small scrub on a bolt head which holds my flares on at full compression. If you don't have flares like mine (which by the picture you don't) then I doubt there'd even be a scrub issue.

With a 3" BL or supension lift you can run 33s with no rubbing as mentioned above... with a 4 inch lift you could run 35s with barely any room for flex.
