2nd gen. front seat removal/cat hair

I have a '94 4runner. I'm pulling the front seats out for cleaning and wanted to get some advise before I break something. There are plastic caps over the back bolts. Do they just pop off using a screwdriver or do they slide off the back. I tend to break things like this, so I thought I'd ask first.
Here's the funny part
I just got this runner about 4 months ago and as far as I could tell it was pretty clean inside. I did notice that once in a while when I drove with the window down that I would start sneezing. Apparantly the previous owner liked cats. I pulled the carpet up and the floor is completely covered in hair. I guess with the wind blowing through, it stirred up the cat hair. I'm quite alergic to them. Should be cleaned up by tomorrow.
Downeys and Bilsteins are going on this weekend. I can't wait to see how it rides after the mod.

Base554 welcome to the Forum! I have had my seats out for my Wet Okole install and yes them little plastic deals just pop off. In fact you can probably do it with your hands. They are pretty easy to get off. Sucks someone hauled a cat around with them. Wonder if it was like trail kitty. Anyone who's been the board a while will know what I am talking about You will absolutely love the Downey/Bilstein combo. Make sure and take some before and after pics!! My favorite mod so far!
