Cooling line question (pix)

Hey guys. After putting in a new engine, we noticed a coolant leak. I couldn't find it for the longest time, but I think I have. All the way down to the intake, with the cooling line coming from the water pump. I think this explains why it wasn't droping coolant until the runner had been driven for a bit, the pit at the intake had to fill before the coolant would drop. The question I have is this: Should I replace the old o-ring with another simular sized o-ring from a harware store, or shoudl I use gasket seal/paper and cut it to fit the fitting on the cooling line. Which do you think will hold up the best? I DO NOT want to have to fix this PTA again!! Thanks guys. Here are the pix:

When I just rebuilt my top end I just scraped it down nice and clean and used RVT. Hasn't leaked yet...
