Hi every one just a quick question for every body.I need to replace my front brakes (pads and rotors) and would like some suggestions and feed back on what brand and type of parts to use.I have a 1989 extra cab v6 sr5 4x4 truck that I drive very aggressively and hard (95% high way driving).Any help would be great.

 

I put Downey drilled rotors and a set of their carbon metallic pads on my 94 Runner and love them. 2 weeks after I put them on I loaded up the Runner and took a 9000 mile trip across the country and really put a beating on them and they performed great. Great stopping under heavy loads and the best wet weather stopping power I have ever had on any vehicle ! Hope this helps !

 

Thanks 94-4runner for your response to my question.How much did the Downey parts cost you and how long did they take to get? I would like to hear from more of the other members as well before I spend the money on my brakes so please take the time to read and respond.Thanks
