As some of you know, I recently got a 05 Tacoma. The truck itself barely fits into my garage, and the antenna dosent at all.

I obtained a Lexus IS300 antenna. The thing is, on this antenna, the threaded portion is only about 3/16" long. And with the receptacle on the truck itself, the threaded portion needs to be ~1/2" or more. How would I make this work? As of right now, it just sits in the hole, and it wont reach the threads...
