clicking/buzzing from manual hub

As the title says I've got a clicking buzzing from the passenger side manual hub, any idea what it is?

are they locked in? are you sure it's the hub and not the caliper or wheel bearing?

they're in the free position and on the jackstands it sounded like it was coming from the hub itself

i had a similar problem once, and basically, taking the hub off and totally apart, cleaning/regreasing/ checking for proper operation of the hub stopped the noise. mine made the same sound while on the jackstands, but it also make like a real loud quacking sound intermittantly while driving. when its apart make sure nothing is broken!
