Hey so I picked up some little breather filters from Yoter on Friday and got around to installing them today...haven't noticed any bad smells or anything like that. Didn't really notice much in the way of power but its a little louder now due to no resonator, pretty much just installed them hoping to keep the engine a little cleaner. I just cut some tubing to fit the hardline and used copper caps to plug off the nipples on the intake (couldn't find rubber ones that would fit) Here's some pics of the finished product

 

Pardon my ignorance, but what does this do for your engine? How has it been working? Anyone else have any feedback?

 

cool rendition of the ISR mod... That looks like two pieces of the original intake?

I still have all my lines routed the same minus the silencer boxes (who designed that intake????) and it's loud but does give some slightly better throttle response; as for power, ehhh... I used a chunk of 4" electrical piping (curved) and some rubber couplings for mine

The whole point of the ISR is to increase your airflow (volumetric efficiency) into the cylinders which allows for more fuel= more power generated.

never seen anyone use individual breathers for the vacuum hoses; and most of those hoses aren't drawing in air but pushing it out, so a filter is just their to keep ambient dirt from finding it's way into the valve covers I'm guessing?

I think it's not really a bad idea, I'm curious to see if you notice any changes in gas mileage either good/bad. let us know what it does if anything!
