I bought some rack and pinion & sway-bar Energy Suspension bushings and I'm going to try to install them over the next few days.

I am a complete newb and this will be the first thing I have ever done to my truck besides replace the horns

I bought a jack and jackstands.
Got a bunch of tools.
Still need to get a torque wrench today.

I've read a few FAQs on replacing these bushings and they recommend lubing the bushing before you put them in ... but what kind of lube and where do I get it? (checker autoparts?)

yea old thread, but i need some info on replacing the rack and pinion bushing, by any chance do you still remember where you got all your information and explain how the hard the job was?? i cant find info about it, i dont know the good keywords for the search engine lol

i didnt use any lube, they were a little slick being in the bag, nothing else was needed.i guess they put oil in there to preseve the rubber.
