location of a few parts

hey all, im having a bit of memory loss since i took the motor apart (and stupid me didnt take pics)
i can remember where the oil pressure sender unit goes (i know on the passenger side of block) or the knock sensor.
also, does the left side engine mount share holes/bolts with anything like the right side engine mount does?

can i remove my a/c compressor completely or does it serve any other purpose other than to drag my engine down (my a/c doesnt work anyways)?

thanks guys

hey bro, i hope my last post didnt come off wrong (thats why i hate the internet, you cant convey intonations.) but i was serious, im not complaining about no one answering my posts i glad no one did becuase it forced me to actually think for myself (i guess i was just being lazy) thus learning more for myself then through others. but judging by your post, i hope you didnt think i was being sarcastic.
o and its the 22-re.
but the one actual question that i tried searching for and coudlnt find the solution to was the possibility of removing the entire a/c compressor so as to reduce parasitic drag on the motor.

what would i have to do delete that part out of the system so to speak.

thanks bro

on removing the A/C there is the "flipper" lover issue of freon leaking into the air, which many states have big laws about....if you have the system vacuumed to remove all the freon then sure you can yank that thing righ on out of there, check your belt routing and have the shorter belt on hand to over come the lost pully if any thing else is on that belt.....not sure it might have its own belt.
sorry i can not help you out with the eng question....I never really deal with the 22r
