I'm replacing my rear brake lines this weekend with the SS extended ones from Toytec, and thus will need to bleed my brakes...ordered a bleeder from Motive this afternoon, and was going through the instructions on how to use it...jsut wondering what pressure yall used on this thing to bleed your brakes? The instructions on their site say to consult my repair manual, which unfortunately I don't have. So anyone who's done it, feel free to speak up...thanks in advance!

I use about 15 psi on my Motive bleeder, that seems to work fine on my vehicles.
And as for the amount of fluid I did a 4Runner, Miata and Civic with 4 litres. Just to be sure you don't run out you probably want to get 2 litres for your truck.

 

A trick I use with the Motive is *not* putting any fluid in the bleeder itself. This requires one to be more diligent in making sure there is enough in the resivoir. The upside is that the bleeder stays clean and makes for less mess. I bleed brakes ALOT on my race car and it's really nice to not have another container that can potentially ruin paint.

As far as pressure goes, I go up to 30psi without a hitch.

I never got over 15lbs when I bled my car and truck. At 15lbs, I was tired of pumping and went no higher, but it seems to push out the fluid well enough even at 10lbs.
