no its not a custom top..i dont think. I have seen them a few other places, but never seen a name or anything...

well, seein as that's a 4runner, you're not gonna be able to get something like that in your bed without fabbing up something for it to connect to.

unless you have a 1st gen...

Could be a modified heep top. I have also heard of a company that makes cargo covers for the first gen. Not sure if they still do.Their name was something lilke steel horse or something. I cant remember right now.

i actually saw it in a 94 or 95? issue of 4WHEELERS MAG. I like the idea of it a lot.

www.Downeyoff-road.com makes a similar bikini top, if that will do the trick. I too think the one picture is custom. Very similar to a bikini top though, unless you want the net sides.

ya thanks a lot. If only i could find like a cover for the back section now. See, ide like to run top in the summer, but still have coverage in the back... Any ideas of what i could do or use to cover the CARGO area of teh 4runner? Maybe like some sort of plywood or something? THX GUYS!

I would look into tonneau covers for 84-88 pickups. Get one you like and cut it to size.

It should hold tight across the sides. I can't say how much the unnattached end will flap, but if you are resourceful you could make it happen.

Other than that plywood covered with vynyl would look similar to what they have.
