Replacing alt. to bat cable...
Hey all,
I decided to buy new connectors for my battery seeing as they were the original connectors put on in 92. After doing all the work, I noticed that there was not enough slack to get the wire (with new connector) up to the post (the positive terminal, negative cable has plenty of slack). I'm hoping that there's just a cable tie holding down the original cable that I can let loose to get just a few more centimeters of slack, however, I was wondering how difficult it would be to replace that cable from the alternator so that I could get just the right length. Any idea how this is done or what I would need to do this? Is this something I can do by myself? I'm hoping that there's just a cable tie holding down the original cable that I can let loose to get just a few more centimeters of slack so that I don't have to do this.
BTW- Where does the negative cable go to?
