I tried searching the forum for some info on this but after staring at 3 pages of nonpertinant info I got impatient.

Here's my question/problem. My 91 runner has the dreaded rear end sag. I've seen several recommendations for the Downey 1.5" coil springs however, I've found some Eibach's for about $60 less.

This is my daily driver and weekend hunting vehicle so I don't want to get too far from stock.

Should I stick with the Downey's or go for the Eibach's? Has anyone used anything other than the Downey's?

If you want to do it right, make sure you extend the brake line and raise the porportioning valve arm.

 

Yea, the Downeys come with that stuff. That's why they are more.

 

I am running the Eibachs and they are great for the DD stuff and hold up okay off road. Yes I had to adjust the torsion bars and brake valve to get it all set up right.
I have put these eibachs on there 4runner over here in Japan and every one was quick and easy, and the drivers love em.......Over here it seems if you take it in to have the problem checked the torision bars are drop to level the truck....Hey it does fix the rear sag ...sorta......
