Welding Table ??

Not sure where to post so I thought I would be safe and post here.
Question:
I would like to build a welding table that would have the welder under it, If the top is covered, can anyone see a problem having a set up like this?

Welder = Wire feed.

Only if you plan to move the table around alot. But if it's pretty much sationary and you can cover your machine from slag and crap, I say go for it.

It's usually not a good practice, but alot depends on your setup too.

Cebby, Feel free to move it over to the fab shop.

Yes I plan to have it on wheels and also plan to have a "table top" over it.

Thanks for the help

I'd put the welder on a separate cart from the table and wouldn't keep it "under" it...just my 2 cents. I've got lots of buds that weld and all of them have their welder(s) and most of them have more than one on carts and separate welding tables.
