show me your shift knob!

shift knob that is..manual ones preferibly...when my dad was driving my 4runner he replaced the stock shift knob with this plastic carbon fiber look one and its creaky and plastic..im looking for something red and kind of hand grip shaped..anyone have any ideas?..mods please feel free to move this if its in the wrong place

this is the shift knob that i'm thinking of getting. i'm pretty sure that it also comes in red. it's very comfortable.

i bought a black plastic round one in the "help" section of schmucks. looks pretty classy and threads right on. i know it's a standard thread, so i'm gonna take my thread pitch gauge and try to figure it out. i never see any knobs but the stupid ricey neon ones with a 12x1.25 pitch, but i know a standard size matches it.

Could be illegal depending on where you are.
In CA it is illegal to own a defused grenade. I like the idea though... that would be cool

Not really SOL...


APC carries these... actually look pretty nice if you're into the chrome/carbon fiber thing.

hmm grenade..interesting..i would place odd my school would call me down to the office and make me show them that its not a real grenade after the call the army to point m-16's at me while i unscrew it..haha

rockknobs are lookin pretty cool right now

i found this at a VW show in Ocean City, MD (H20)
it's one of the cooler shifter's that i've seen in my day. the brass knuckles are on an old school VW Thing.
