I was thinking of putting 04 tundra rims on my 97 runner. It should work right?

The Tundra rims are 17x7.5 with a 17mm offset (the 5 double spoke ones) and my runner is not lifted yet. But for only a little wider and a +2 offset, it shouldn't have any rubbing would it?

the rims will fit without an issue, however depending on what tire size you are running currently and proposed, you will need to check on if there will be rub or not....

that wasnt the question i was trying to ask... what i mean is that the nex X wheels have a certain size tire that is a 265/65/17 -- how does that compare size wise to the tires that are currently on your truck? yes they may bolt on fine, but if the new tires are larger or smaller then the current ones is where you might have a rubbing issue

That is the exact same combo i have on my 96 4WD. Fit's fine with no rubbing. The 265/65/17's are just a hair smaller than the stock 265/70/16's. but not enough to notice a difference in the speedo.

They will bolt right up with no problems.
