IF a factory limited slip diff existed on a 1997 SR5 4 Runner 3.4 5 Speed rig,,,,

where would the limited slip tag, label on my 4 runner if it exists saying 'limited slip differential fluid only'

or something of the sort, would it be on the passenger side, rear part of the housing, right where the tubes meet the pumpkin about 2 inches or so from the fill plug?

Investigation is underway, and I need to identify a lead

there is a paper type/label tag there which is about 2 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch tall or so.....placed right near the fill plug

My 97 has the same paper tag you describe. whatever it used to say is long gone. I have no reason to beleive I have any sort of LSD, as I was able to spin one tire on our slick raods this morning. Not sure it means anything, but on the 3rd member cover, drivers side 35140 is stamped. I have the 4cyl, 5spd, 4.10 ratio diffs (225/75/15 originally)
