steering wheel squeak when turning=annoying

steering wheel squeaks when turning, i took the dash apart and apply grease , also tried WD 40 as well, non worked, does anyone else have this problem

it's the connectiong peace that touches the back of the plate on the steering wheel so the horn will work. You have to take your wheel off and use a steering wheel puller to remove the plate to put grease or graphite on the back of it where the connector will touch. the connector is about the width of a nail and should be the only peice of metal sticking out once you remove your steering wheel accembly. I have a grant steering wheel so i have a seperate plate, if you have the stock wheel the plate should be attaced to the wheel. This happened to me and every once in a while i have to re grease it esp. in the winter.
