I've had this clunck that I was able to isolate to the rear of my 90 Runner, Looked at it last night and its not the u-joint but it looks to me like the whole rear end is rotating maybe a 8th or a quarter of an inche.
I didd't see any breads in the suspension,

Question- is it the bushings that would limit the movement of the rear end?

Is my explination ok????
