i'm putting an '82 motor and tranny in my '79 truck, wondering if this is an alright deal for a clutch. i don't need anything fancy, just something to get it on the road. i know the shipping is $20, but still totals out cheaper than anything i can find locally. also, it looks like it uses springs instead of rubber pucks, so that's a plus:

for $60 that aint bad... even if it doesnt last that long... if its for mild mannered street driving... no problem.... i have a centerforce dual friction, but i drive like a maniac!

 

i'm putting in a used l-52 tranny, so i have to be easy on it no idea what kinda shape it's in, hope it holds up for a while at least. so i figure i'll keep the motor mild for now and go easy on the gearbox

 

so is ebay the only choice? any companies out there who sell rebuilt clutches? got 182k and would like to have a spare clutch handy.

 

If it says Asco go for it, that's a great price. Looks like it even has springs in the disc instead of bushings .
