12" Kicker Solo-Baric L5

http://store.yahoo.com/discountsonli...s1solbarl.html

I think I'm going to buy one of these to put in my 4runner. At this site it's only about $130 so that's always good for my wallet. I want to get an Alpine amp because I've heard great things about them.
Can anyone suggest a good amp for this sub, and any input on this sub would be great. I'm so confused!

they hit hard....my buddy's got an 8" L5 and it hits as hard as any round 10" sub...I've got one 10" L7 I haven't hooked up yet, but I know it sounds good...

I have two of those powered by a 1200.1 so they're each getting about 700 watts rms. They absolutely pound and give all the bass I need.

Found that, looks pretty expensive, especially just to power one sub!

Yeah, the 600.1 sounds good on L5's, especially going vented since they will be more efficient, kx1200.1 would be nice, but there's no way the L5 or even the L7 in a pair can handle the 1200.1, too much power for those subs unless you are going sealed. A while back one of my installers built a vented box off of bassboxpro for a Diamond Audio M6 12 inch sub with a Diamond D5600.1 on it and damn did it beat...It was in a 99 limited 4 runner.

The L7 15 will handle a KX1200.1 and the 12 will but only burping the sub.

Yeah thats correct, a very common system we do around town is 2 L7 15's with a KX1200.1 on each sub. Then I sell them an Ohio Generator 200 amp alternator, a couple Stinger batteries for the trunk then whatever else they choose for their other components of the system... That setup is loud as ÅÅÅÅÅ! Have you ever heard the Eclipse Titanium or the Diamond Audio TDX? Those are some kickass subs too...

My current setup is 2 L7 15s with 2 Kx1200.1's and I just ordered 2 12" Eclipse Titaniums that im gonna put my Kx1200s on. Thats wierd that you mention that right as I get it lol

Hey can you tell me the box specs on the Eclipse 12s? I plan on building my own box and was wondering what they recomend. Ported for sure.

I don't have a ti in stock so could you email me the vas, qts, etc and I might be able to talk my head installer into designing you a box on bassboxpro for free...He is very protective of that stuff around here because he is the box king in this county, but since u are a good ways away he may let it slide, believe me you will not be dissapointed! I am gonna go with either 1 ti 12 or a tdx 12, not sure yet...

So I have a 12 L5 kicker solor barick and a 600 watt also a 1200 watt Amp the 1200 is pushing 2 10's and the 600 my sister got for another speaker I was wanting to get a box made to put the 2 10's and the 12 in but I dunno if the 600 watt would blow the kicker or not also my sister gave me the kicker (she is dead now) so it's got sentimental value
