hey guys this is rick in md i just installed a set of 6252 piaa driving lights on my new 04 4runner the install went well and i tapped the switch wire into the highbeam 10amp fuse the only problem is the fuse stays hot when i switch to lowbeam and i cannot figure out on the new 4runner where to connect the switchwire so they only come on with the highbeam please help .thanks rick

 

if you're wiring them with a seperate switch, just wire them to something simpler like the corner lights or the low beams. Well, I say the corner lights on my 94 because it was just two wires, much easier to tap into. IDK about the lights on other gens. If you're not using a switch then nevermind, I would just get a volt meter, turn the lights on and look for the wire to tap into. You've just tapped into the wrong wire.
