New Box sides for paint

Hey everyvbody,
i i have searched everywhere for a new box for my 89 pickup and can only find 2 that are for $3000 so i have turned to just replacing the box sides, i am painting my truck in 2 weeks and i have found the sides and they are $300 a peice which isn;t too bad but i have no idea if it is even worth just replacing the sides or not not how big of a job this is
has anybody done this before and what do i have to do to take off and put on sides, and welds or just glue,
thanks cody
