what parts do you need from tacoma's for manual hub swap

i was wondering what parts you have to get from the tacomas to put aisin hubs on a 3rd gen 4runner? i heard it's everthing from the ball joints out and the axle shafts is that correct? i searched and it was not real clear whats needed.

theres a local yard here where i live that just got a 97 tacoma in that had a dash fire. 4x4 parts are still good since the fire did not even hurt the tires.

i can pick the parts up if anyone is interetsed.

this may seem like a dumb question but how do you get the front axles out? they don't have the 6 bolts like the older ifs trucks. do they just pop out when you pry on them by the front housing? want to know since i'll be pulling the parts and i don't wnat tto screw them up.

Check this thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/manual-hub-kit-700-would-you-buy-30741/ .

It's been well-covered, looks to be quite pricey.

Any chance it has OEM alloy wheels? If so, I would like the alloy wheel center caps. I've already done the conversion and I'd like the caps to go with my stock alloy wheels.

the truck was a plain one that came with steel wheels i guess. it has 4 chrome wagon wheels laying in the bed. i'll be getting the parts from it tommorow.
