New owner/ Where do you buy your parts??

I've been driving the 4runner for a week or so now and really like it. It does need a few odds and ends like a front o2 sensor, and some brake rotors.

Where do you guys buy your parts from? Local auto stores, the stealer(I mean dealer), or some parts warehouse online?

With other foreign cars I've owned, I've always been able to save a decent amount of cash buy shopping with reputable mail order places.

Thanks for any info,

a mixture of both

Surprisingly, prices at the dealer aren't always that bad (they certainly beat Honda dealers). I got the OEM Toyota spark plugs for less than my auto parts store charges.

For more routine parts (filters, brake pads, etc.) you're safe going to an auto parts store. Just make sure you get quality parts, not the cheapest ones they have.

If it's anything more complicated than that, I go to the dealer.

For cheap OEM parts online, check out http://www.toyotaworld.com/.

I get my parts from www.toyotaautoparts.com . They will pretty much beat any deal. Just tell them Ben sent you.

Go to American Toyota website, ask for my boy Dan. He will hook you up with a good discount.
