The stealership wants $36 for a fuel filter while autozone wants $14. Is there that much of a difference? Going on a 92 3.0L. Thanks for the opinions.

 

I would pay the $36, maybe no difference but why risk it to save $20 over the 2 years or so you'll be using the filter. Plus changing the filter on that vehicle is a PITA so you don't want to have to do it again in a few months if you find the cheap one is no good.

Just my humble opinion.

I disagree completely, all you get at a dealer is an over priced version supposedly made just for your toyota. Just like the denso made in the USA oil filters that everyone loves are really made by purolator. Got my fuel filter at napa for 19.99. Buying parts like that at a dealer is a waste of money, but thats my 0.02 and its your money.
