Im looking at buying a Magnaflow muffler and would like to know what the difference is between the oval and round bodied mufflers. I have noticed that many 2nd gen runners owners have replaced their muffler with an oval body as opposed to the stock round body. Any noticeable differences, sound?, performance? On the webpage Magnaflow clamis there is no difference but if anyone has other experience please fill me in. Also if i have the 2.0 tubing, its alright to go with the 2.25 muffler. It will still fit fine? thanks all

 

I got a round one on my 88 22re because they last longer( I think ).On my 66 mustang I got oval ones(two). I don't know why. Maybe they fit better. Just thinking, a round muffer like a glass packs are the best for flow.
