OK, we're a REGION! What's our name then?

I'm actually leaving my job on July 1st so I should have some time to make the new website, though I don't plan on being between jobs for long. In the meantime we should see what we can do to come up with the new theme/scheme for the regional version of ourselves...

Lemme know if you want it named something other than Capitol.
I don't have the time to check back through all the posts, so please PM me when you come up with a name to use here which will reflect all 3 states if that is what you are aiming for.
Note that the other sections are all named by state, so it should be something along that catagory.

So far I believe we're merging Virginia and Maryland and possibly DC and/or Delaware if they're YotaTech members.
Whatever name we finally agree on, I'd like to have "VA" first. "VADelMar 4Roc" seems to flow, but I think there are some DC 4Runners on YotaTech too. We wouldn't want to forget about them. I'll try to search the boards to see if there are any DC 4Runners here.

I really prefer the brevity of "CAP4ROC".
I can see the point of keeping things state oriented just to match the current setup but it didn't matter enough to keep CAP from existing briefly, and it didn't look out of place to me. Not only that, but an unofficial border will keep things easy for people who may want to jump in. The reason I thought this would be a good idea was because of all the neighboring states who adopted us anyway, this way potential members can decide if they consider themsleves in the Capitol region...

What about the full name "Capitol4Roc" instead of the abbreviated "CAP4ROC?" Whatever name we decide, maybe we can get a "sticky" message at the top of the forum explaining the reasons for going regional and what areas are included.

i like the idea of merging, as there really is only a few of us from each area. I think its should be "CAPA4ROC" for capitol area 4roc. but either way I dont care, not like we do too much anyways.

We need to change the lack of activity around here. We've all been busy with work and family. Now with our baby here, I've done nothing but help around the house. I'm itching to hit the trails for a day run or even a "Meet & Greet."

My concern is that Corey has suggested maintaining some kind of state specificity, and I'm not sure that's possible with the idea as we like it. I'm for it as it breifly existed, loosely affiliated with the regional states.
Yeah, we really don't do that much. I will be more available shortly since I'll be leaving my job. The drive in is still a good idea, and while it may not be off roading at least it does directly involve the trucks...

Hi everyone,
There's some people that live in other areas of VA other than NOVA, using Capitol will kinda leave'em out, Mid Atlantic would be more appropiate...
I don't know yet the Yotatech's forum structure, but maybe joining all mid atlantic states forums into one would simplify communications between members that live in nearby states.. the planning of casual or formal club (or clubs) activities will be easier.. I don't think there is a need to change the VA4ROC, but more events are needed.
i'm new in this forum so i am not very familiar with it yet, but hope to learn from all your experiences.
