My driver side front fender has wreck damage on it, and is starting to rust since it was never fixed by the previous owner. There is a junkyard not too far that has several toyota p/u (but no 4runners) and was wondering if any years would be interchangable?

if not, has anybody used those aftermarket fenders on ebay for like $65 shipped and had good experiences?

 

I think they should fit. Just give the Toyota dealer a quick call to confirm the part numbers.

I personally would not use the ebay or any other fender besides Toyota. I replaced the front bumper with one of those Taiwanese after-markets, and the fit is terrible. The bolt holes didn't line up, and it was very frustrating trying to fit the piece. Save the aggravation and go used Toyota.
