will a 01 4runner jack tool work on a 98 4runner..i tried lowering the spare tire with a 01 tool but does not want to lower ..or is there something wrong with my rig...hit me up

 

sorry to see you arent getting any love here. i cant help, only have/had trucks. but i did by an older 4runner jack handle for one of my old pickups, works fine. i figured they are all the same... maybe only for pre-95 toys and runners?

once i had to use channel locks for my jack in baja, but thats another story. buenas suerte!

did you try yanking down on the spare when you cranked the lift for the spare. maybe the wheel is just stuck and just needs a little tug.
