Tacoma filter change

Anyone have a creative solution for a way not to spill oil when changing the oil filter on a Tacoma? On my '03 2.4 I always wrap the filter in a plastic bag before I take it off, but still manage to lose some. I was wondering if someone had a better way.

You might try cutting off the bottom half of a 2 liter or 1 liter plastic soda bottle. Put the bottle half over the filter when you remove it. A filter wrench will hold it in place. Use the other half as a funnel. late

plastic bag, remove the skid plate, crush the filter... whole bunch of different things. I've used the plastic bag method and it kind of works...
