Rear suspension woes

Hey yotafam,

90 pickup I use for small construction work, love it! The rear suspension doesnt hold a lot of weight, so I got an add a leaf kit. It just raised the back about 3 inches but the suspension is still soft. I put some 2" lowering blocks to level the truck, but now its a bumpy ride even unloaded. The rear will sometimes drift a wee bit over a bump in a turn. I had 6 bundles of roof shingles in the bed and it drove so bad I set 2 in the cab. Even 3 bags of concrete make it a scary drive. I love this truck and dont want anything else! Help! lol

Consider taking out the extra leaf and either put in air shocks, air bags, or coil over shocks.

Tires, too. You probably need something with a pretty hefty sidewall. Something stronger than your average LT tire

Stock springs with an airbag kit. then you can control how much support it needs.
