Quality Replacement front bumper - 1st Gen 4Runner
Looking for a good quality (as close to OEM as possible) replacement front bumper for my 1st gen 1989 4Runner SR5. I can't find one for the life of me. The best I can come up with is an Evan Fischer, which I've used on my 04 Tacoma with very good success in terms of quality. The problem is they don't seem to make one for the "4WD" Toyota's, only "2WD". Looking for options, and it needs to be something that looks OEM. Thanks.

Does 89 have a couple extra bumper bolts than earlier?
i used an aftermarket chrome bumper on my 86 and would call it “adequate”. I’m not sure in what way the OEM is superior.
Maybe better corrosion resistance, but mine doesn’t go in salt and usually not rain.

Not that I know of. I think it's the same as the 86-88.. OER is superior just for general fit and finish. It looks better, the chrome doesn't rust easily, it's heavier.
