Engines that will drop into a 1992 Toyota SR5 pickup with 4X4

I have a 1992 Toyota pickup and two out of the six cylinders are dead I'm looking for the cheapest and easiest swap because this is my first vehicle and I want to start driving

This is the list I've made so far and am going to try finding

The easiest swap will always be replacing with the same engine that it came with: the wiring harness, transmission, etc will bolt/plug right up. For a 92 V6 that should be the 3.0 liter 3VZE, which is a decent engine with some quirks, lots of threads regarding it on here.
Many have upgraded to the 3.4 5VZ-FE but it will require more work and money. You can search 3.4 swap on here for more info.
Your current engine could also be salvageable depending on why the cylinders are dead: It might be a cylinder head/valve issue…

Nothing on that list will be cheap or easy other then replacing the engine that came in the truck to begin with. Theres plenty of places to find them used would be the cheapest, having your 3vz rebuilt would be the second cheapest

I live in Spokane I see a lot of the old V6 toy trucks with a v8 SBC.
I don't know if ya need an adapter or not but they are a ripper.
I see one at the ORV park often.
Look around and see what you can find on the interwebs.
