2nd GEN steering stabilizer
Hello folks
I have a quick question.
In process of rebuilding a 95 4runner (v6). My steering stabilizer or dampener is just total trash.
Any one ever note that the centerlink (tapered hole) attachment is articulating?
I can not find an OEM, tried Monroe and KYB. One of them had the bolt that was at least tapered, but (they both) went straight thru the rubber bush. Not articulating.
So few weeks ago the 4WheelParts counter guy took time, and we found an OMEmu that looked like it was right. Ordered and got in. Attaching to center link it seems a bit too big diameter.
Still not an articulating end.
It does hit a bracket of some sort, that I can not remember what the cathair it's for on full Left turn. It seems to keep parallel to the center link full L to R turn, at least well enough.
But I have a couple of questions. (Got like 10 days to return it). Pic Attached.
1- does not having an articulating (moves around ala tie rod end) really matter much you reckon?
2- the bracket just to the R in photo; if I cut that a bit to clearance, would it matter much? I don't even now what was that there for?
Thanks in advance.

Forgot to add, after I did a search, that YES! Indeed I checked the Flux Capacitor! (lol).
Was that RSR that suggested that? Cant recall. Thanks for the chuckle.
