SAS rides rough

Hey gang, so I did my sas on my 87 4runner with 22re and it rode like a forklift on the street. Super uncomfortable. I have TG 3" springs. I thought it was because I did a crappy job putting in my shackle tubes. They seemed like they weren't perfectly straight relative to the other. So I bought some leaf spring slider boxes from liquid iron industries and welded those on. It improved the ride quality as the springs slide more freely in the slider box, but still it feels like the ride should be softer. Sometimes it feels like I get to bouncing. My shocks are Gabriel 81342 shocks with a 12" travel. I believe they are for a stock durango or something probably for the rear. I cannot find the valving info. But I thought that the rough ride problem would be because of the springs not shocks. So does anyone else have similar experience with stiff trail gear springs?
