1st Gen Clutch/Brake Assembly for Swap
Hi guys, finally decided to sign up here and see if anyone can help me out. I can purchase the clutch pedal assembly for around $250+ USD but for about half of that, I can buy the 1st gen pickup pedal assembly. Would there be any reason of why it won't physically fit up and line up where the clutch cylinder goes? I'm not worried about the switches on the brake and clutch, I can easily make my own. I'm just wondering if I can fit it up and if anyone's tried it. It's so much more available and even if it's weaker, I can still strengthen it up before installing, I got more time than money.
Currently in the middle of a manual swap on my 2nd gen, my auto finally took a dump so I grabbed a r150f and a vf1 transfer case for about 400.

I thought there was a only one pedal assembly for any truck/4Runner for the 84-88 series. Maybe post a photo.
