Trail gear bumpers and winch?

I installed the trailgear rock defense bumpers front and rear on my 1985 Pickup. Sliders next. The question I have is winch related. Has anyone on here installed a winch with this truck/bumper combo? Trailgear recommends 8-9k winch. There is not much room and I don't want to cut into the grille. If this has been done please provide what which you installed. Thanks

I recently bought relatively the same front bumper but without the stinger. Yeah installation indicates cutting the grill....my brand new grill....WTF! you can't design the thing plus 1'' away? I returned it and built my own front bumper kinda using their design. Cost me twice the amount of money, but I kinda like it. Plus it has provisions for the turn signals

Still have a tube going over the top of the winch tying the sides together for an LED bar. Just don't have it bolted on yet. Another thing I noticed with the TG bumper is when bolted on, it puts a lot pressure against the bottom of the core support where the radiator hole is. The piece I had folded clears than by about 1/8-3/16 of an inch. Grill clearance is about 1/2''.

Its good practice to plate the frame where the front bumper bolts on. under a hard pull sometimes the nuts pull through.

the warn m series fit without cutting the grill with a TG mount. The solenoid box is mounted to the grill here, but you could put it anywhere.

If you look closely at one of the pics I put in studs from the backside of the front cross member and added a 3rd upper mount in the center. Don't plan on doing anything too drastic with this truck as it will be a daily vehicle that I cannot afford to break on the weekends. Any winching will be just random stuck in the snow or mud where I live. NO dragging up or over rocks type of thing
