What up y’all! Little context, my inside handle is stuck open thanks to a buddy who decided to close the door with the handle instead of using the door’s hand cradle. To me it looks like the spring is out of place and can be an easy fix but I’d rather have those who really know these things inside and out tell me otherwise. Pic attached below, any insight is appreciated! Thanks!
The spring looks out of place. Don't know why. This video ,that is for another 91 door handle issue, at least shows how the spring should be connected to the handle. Hopefully, that plastic part is not broken off. If not it looks like an easy repair.
