Dusty Vents
Hello Everyone
has anybody tried to clean the vents as I seem to be getting lots of dust inside the 4runner.
I remember year and years ago there was a show called "TRUCKS" and the guy used some sort of foam vent cleaner, I can't find anything similar at all nowadays
any tip to get the system dust free??
Thanks

I’ve seen success with placing a piece of T-Shirt over the louvers behind the drivers rear cargo panel. The louver back there allows pressure to equalize when you close the doors. A lot of times they stick open and let dust come in and swirl around.

I'll have to check that out. I never thought about that vent.
I have already removed the front plastic venting below the windshield, stuck a vacuum hose in every gap and access point I could see. then ran some frothy car soap down it too. see how that works out
