Hi I am thinking of swapping a 1gz-Fr (v12 engine from the century) into a race car I was wondering what I would have to do to continue using the stock ecu and wiring harness without upgrading to a standalone ecu in the swap and what I would have to do to convert the drive by wire system to a drive by cable system. I will also be planning to use a cd009 manual transmission (6 speed form Nissan) since there is a adapter kit for sale. I am trying to avoid using a standalone ecu since I’m not the best at wiring and it would be more cost effective to just tune the stock ecu.
