Swapping TG main leaf out for rear main leaf fix shackle angle??

Hey guys recently finished my sas using TG 3" springs. The truck rides absolutely terrible. The springs are stiff as hell and my shackle angle sucks. I shoved the shackle mount jigs as far forward as I could. Other than that I followed the directions.

I think im gonna try and swap the main leaf out for a factory rear main. TG says these springs are 47" eye to eye. Do you think the 48" rear main will be enough to make a difference here?

The 51" 89-95 springs may be too long...

Thanks for any input or lmk if you did this!!

The springs aren't settled yet but it's still gonna ride like ass (mine does, but it's bearable)

I plan on going this route:

But you can build yourself a hybrid set, if you're able to track down a set of RUFs.

It's crazy to me that finding used rears is difficult now. A lot has changed since I bought this toy.

I think the 48" spring is a good choice. May want to exchange a few leafs with the stock pack if you want to soften them up.

stock rears ARE getting hard to find. Either too rusty or broken. Ive had good luck using the OME cs009r packs as builders, and at a littler over 100 for each pack, its not too bad.
