Hey, does anybody know if I can use an older style knock sensor in a 94 runner? I ended up with a 94 3vze with an older style knock sensor installed already and the wires "custom engineered" I have the correct (new) pigtail for the older knock sensor that I would like to reuse but my question is: will a 1990 style knock sensor communicate correctly with a 1994 ECU?
