So after building my Mcfly pickup last year I ended up selling it because it was just too nice of a truck to drive around (for me at least). Well, just as most warned me, I ended up regretting selling it despite the hefty $36,250 I pocketed from my BAT auction so I scoured the interwebs and drove up and down the California coast several times in efforts to build another one. I ended up purchasing an 85 Xtracab that was the perfect platform. A few trips road north and south of the Ca Bay Area after some relentless internet searching, I was able to source all of the correct SMITTYBILT and KC HiLite parts to complete the build. I had to do some serious deep cleaning of the interior since the previous owner left the pickup to be ravaged by either squirrels or rats, but I definitely got all of that sorted out. Anyways, I honestly have no clue if I'll be keeping this one, but I did put feelers out on the interwebs just out of morbid curiosity. I doubt it will sell but if someone is just crazy enough to pay my asking then 2.0 might find its way to another home as well. Anyways, here's some eye candy in the respective order it was purchased up till now.
Excellent!!!!! I also like your driveway shot, makes me miss old small trucks Toyota would make an absolute killing if they re-released a new old truck….anyway good stuff!!!
